Jeffrey R. Elliott

Jeffrey Elliott is a partner in the Financial Products & Services, Capital Markets and Securities Groups. His practice focuses representing domestic and international sponsor and investor clients in the formation and capitalization of a broad range of private funds with investment mandates covering private equity, debt, energy, real estate, agribusiness, infrastructure, emerging markets, leveraged buyouts, venture, growth equity, fund of funds and hedge funds. He has also assisted the sponsors in the formation of each of Canada’s institutional funds of search funds and is a leader in this area. Jeffrey also has significant expertise in the area of securities law, with an emphasis on investment funds, including structured products, mutual funds and other pooled investments. His clients include investment fund managers, dealers and advisers (both domestic and international), and public and private investment funds and financial institutions.
