Jeff Kerrane has more than 30 years of experience representing property owners and community associations in construction defect litigation. He practices with Kerrane Storz PC and serves clients from Broomfield, Colorado, with an emphasis on Litigation – Construction.
Jeff represents homeowners and community associations in Colorado and Texas, focusing on construction defect disputes and related litigation. His work has included assisting with the drafting of construction defect legislation in both states, supporting Colorado’s Build Our Homes Right (BOHR) coalition, and authoring numerous amicus curiae briefs in matters affecting homeowner and community association rights. He has also testified before multiple state and local legislative committees on issues involving construction quality, housing, and community associations.
In addition to his litigation practice, Jeff has been published in legal and industry journals such as the Santa Clara Law Review, Nevada Lawyer, California Regulatory Law Reporter, Condo Management Magazine, Recharger Magazine, and regional publications of the Community Associations Institute (CAI). He regularly presents on construction defect litigation and community association law for professional and regulatory organizations, including CAI, the Nevada Ombudsman’s Office for Community Associations, the Nevada Real Estate Division, the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, and the California Association of Community Managers.
In 2012, Jeff participated in a state bar delegation to Cuba, where he studied and reported on the structure and operation of the country’s legal system.
