Jeffrey I. Cohen

Jeffrey is the managing partner at Torkin Manes and a member of the firm’s Business Law and Corporate Finance Groups. His practice is concentrated on mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses, and financings. He works closely with our clients to gain an understanding of their businesses and business objectives, firmly believing that lawyers cannot provide advice on legal business issues in a vacuum.

Jeff has significant experience on a wide variety of business transactions and financings, providing valuable strategic advice to clients in relation to their legal needs, always focused on completing the transaction or task at hand while achieving the client's goals.

While maintaining an active role in the practice of law, Jeff has led the ongoing development, growth and success of Torkin Manes as its managing partner.

Consistent with his philosophy that there is tremendous value in obtaining an understanding of a client's business, Jeffrey currently sits on the Board of Directors or Advisory Board of several companies to which Torkin Manes provides legal services.
