Jeff advises clients on all aspects of estate administration and estate planning. Jeff counsels executors and trustees on administering estates and trusts and helps beneficiaries understand their rights. Jeff has extensive experience in developing tailored estate plans and drafting wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements, trusts and related planning documents.
Jeff is a founding partner of Scion Law LLP, which was founded with the vision of providing accessible and affordable quality legal services in the areas of wills, trusts and estates. After receiving a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2013, Jeff clerked at the British Columbia Court of Appeal from 2013 to 2014 and articled at an international law firm. Jeff was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2015. Prior to founding Scion Law, Jeff practiced in the areas of estates, trusts and charities and not-for-profits for 6 years at one of Canada’s leading tax and trust law boutiques. Jeff is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a global organization with a mission to uphold high professional standards in the areas of trusts and estates, and holds a Trust and Estates Practitioner (TEP) designation.
