Jeff began working with the Law Offices of Brian J. Breiter LLP while attending Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he gained early experience assisting with litigation strategy, case preparation and trial work. On the same day he was sworn in as a member of the State Bar of California, Jeff tried and won his first case, marking the beginning of a litigation practice focused on courtroom advocacy and trial preparation.
Throughout his career, Jeff has represented clients in high-stakes injury and wrongful-death litigation against corporations, insurance carriers and public entities. He has obtained multiple seven-figure jury verdicts and has helped secure seven- and eight-figure recoveries in cases involving disputed liability and catastrophic injuries. His approach emphasizes thorough preparation, detailed investigation and readiness for trial when fair resolution cannot be reached through settlement negotiations.
In 2025, Jeff obtained a $9 million wrongful-death jury verdict on behalf of parents whose son was killed in a motor vehicle collision. The case focused on presenting the impact of the family’s loss and the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
Jeff also obtained a $6,768,071.46 jury verdict against Uber Technologies following a Los Angeles pedestrian collision involving a driver logged into the Uber platform. Liability and causation were heavily disputed throughout the litigation. Following a two-and-a-half-week trial, the jury returned what was reported as the first verdict of its kind against Uber in Southern California.
In another significant matter, Jeff served as trial counsel in a case against the City of Long Beach involving injuries caused by a falling tree branch at El Dorado Park. The plaintiff sustained serious spinal and traumatic brain injuries. During trial, evidence showed deficiencies in the City’s tree inspection and maintenance practices. The jury returned a verdict of $5,193,470.50.
Jeff is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only organization composed of experienced civil trial attorneys and judges dedicated to preserving the right to trial by jury. He is among the younger attorneys admitted to the organization.
