Jeff Fixsen is a lawyer with Duncan Craig LLP in Edmonton, Alberta. For more than two decades, he has advised corporations, owner-managed businesses, family-owned businesses, start-ups and individuals on a broad range of business matters.
Jeff’s practice also includes commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, financing and trademarks. He works with clients to understand their businesses, identify practical options and address legal issues efficiently.
Jeff serves clients throughout Edmonton, Northern Alberta and surrounding communities. He assists businesses with selecting and maintaining structures suited to their ownership, operational and long-term planning needs, including corporations owned by families and multiple generations.
His experience includes serving on Duncan Craig LLP’s management committee and working with the firm’s real estate practice group. Jeff combines this experience with a practical, relationship-focused approach to help clients navigate transactions, planning decisions and time-sensitive legal matters.

Jeff is also committed to his family, work and community. His teaching experience at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law has strengthened his interest in critical thinking and advocacy. He previously served for 14 years as a director of CASA – Child, Adolescent, and Family Mental Health, and is proud of the organization’s growth and its work supporting children and youth affected by mental health challenges.
