Jeff Alpert

Jeffrey Alpert is a partner in the Banking & Financial Services Group at Torkin Manes LLP in Toronto, Ontario. His practice focuses on banking and finance law, with an emphasis on representing banks, financial institutions, and other lenders in bilateral and syndicated loan transactions. With more than four decades of experience, Jeffrey advises institutional and private lenders, as well as borrowers, on a broad range of commercial financing matters. His work includes commercial loan transactions secured by real estate and personal property, asset-based lending, and receivables purchase financing (factoring). Jeffrey is known for providing practical and business-focused legal counsel tailored to each client’s objectives. He works closely with clients to understand their operations, priorities, and transaction goals, helping facilitate efficient and collaborative deal execution.
