Jean-François Perreault is Chair of the firm’s Québec Region Tax Group. He has practised tax law for over 20 years, with a focus on commercial and corporate taxation.

Jean-François has specific expertise in corporate reorganization and commodity tax planning, and handles matters related to cross-border financing and investment, operations and acquisition structuring in Canada and abroad.

He is recognized as one of the best income and commodity tax advisers. He regularly negotiates successfully on behalf of clients during disputes with the tax authorities.

Jean-François’ expertise in structuring public-private partnerships is valued by private corporations, government and government agencies in the transportation, recreation, infrastructure and health industries.
