Jean-Baptiste Poulle is a leading member of the French Bar in financial markets and banking regulatory matters.
He has advised on some of the most innovative financial products and services in the recent past, including putting together post-market collateral management documentation for a leading depository. He has extensive expertise on the marketing of financial instruments in France (in particular AIFs and structured products).
He has also been heavily involved in the implementation of MiFid II and is currently advising financial institutions on Brexit related restructurings and reorganizations and in the implementation of French anticorruption regulations.
Jean-Baptiste regularly represents financial institutions in enforcement proceedings before the financial and banking regulators (AMF/ACPR/ECB).
He has held various teaching positions at top French universities and has also published extensively on financial markets and banking law.
