Jay Sujir is a Partner at Farris LLP in Vancouver, British Columbia, practising in the areas of Corporate Law, Mining Law, and Securities Law. He advises mining and natural resource companies on a broad range of corporate, commercial, and securities matters, including public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
Jay has nearly 30 years of experience acting for mining and other natural resource companies in Canada and internationally. His practice includes advising clients at various stages of development, from exploration and project development to production and ongoing corporate operations.
He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1986 after earning his LLB from the University of Victoria. He also obtained a BA in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Victoria in 1981.
