Biography
As a practicing land use lawyer in New York since 1984, Jay Segal has wide-ranging knowledge of virtually all aspects of land use law. He frequently appears before New York City's City Council, City Planning Commission, Landmarks Preservation Commission, Board of Standards & Appeals and Buildings Department.
Jay counsels many of New York City's leading developers, institutions and non-profit organizations. He has wide-ranging experience with zoning districts, variances, special permits, amendments to the Zoning Resolution and obtaining permission to alter landmarked buildings.
