Jason R. Scoby is a Shareholder at O’Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong & Laing SC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He leads the firm’s Corporate Practice Group and serves on the firm’s Board of Directors. With more than 15 years of experience, Jason focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, representing buyers and sellers in transactions involving established companies, family offices, individual buyers, and private equity groups.
Jason’s recognized practice areas include Corporate Law, Banking and Finance Law, and Business Organizations, including LLCs and Partnerships. He advises businesses on general corporate matters such as contract preparation and negotiation, succession planning, business planning, and day-to-day legal issues. Jason works with clients to understand their objectives, assess legal considerations, and develop practical approaches to business and transactional matters.
Jason also represents banks and borrowers in commercial lending and other banking and finance transactions. His experience with financing arrangements supports his work on mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions, including transactions involving Small Business Administration (SBA) financing.
As part of O’Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong & Laing SC, Jason works with attorneys across the firm to address clients’ legal needs in areas such as employment, real estate, tax, estate planning, commercial litigation, inheritance litigation, divorce, and personal injury litigation. This collaborative approach allows him to coordinate legal services for businesses, business owners, lenders, and borrowers.
Jason lives in Mequon with his wife and four children. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys attending his children’s sporting events, playing golf, and following Wisconsin sports teams.
