Jason J. Krisza

Jason J. Krisza is a Shareholder on the Corporate and Health Law groups at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. Mr. Krisza represents healthcare entities and individual healthcare professionals as well as businesses and business owners in a variety of legal disputes, business transactions, and regulatory matters affecting their operations.

Mr. Krisza's healthcare practice focuses on the representation of individual healthcare professionals, including physicians, dentists, physical therapists, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician assistants, and medical technicians, as well as medical practices, including hospital systems, ambulatory surgery centers, management services organizations, and clinically integrated networks. He is well versed in the complex statutory and regulatory laws affecting these individuals and entities, and drafts and negotiates a wide variety of agreements, such as employment agreements, hospital affiliation agreements, confidentiality agreements, operating agreements, stockholders agreements, buy-sell agreements, cease and desist letters, and purchase agreements. In addition, Mr. Krisza assists physicians respond to inquiries from the Board of Medical Examiners, the Department of Banking and Insurance and the Office of Inspector General, as well as resolve payor audits and recoupment issues.

In connection with corporate law, Mr. Krisza assists businesses and individuals in achieving their goals in all stages of a business’ lifecycle, including formation, expansion, consolidation, and wind-down. At each stage, he helps them resolve disputes, navigate state and federal regulatory framework, cut costs, and avoid expensive legal disputes in the future. Mr. Krisza is often involved in drafting governing documents such as By-Laws, Operating Agreements, Membership Interest Purchase Agreements, and amendments thereto, as well the negotiation of stock and asset acquisitions, shareholder and employment agreements, and reviewing commercial real estate leases.
