Jason Butwick practises in all aspects of employment and partnership law. His practice ranges from the management of collective consultation obligations in the context of structural reorganisations to the handling of highly sensitive unlawful discrimination allegations against specific members of an LLP. He regularly advises on restraint of trade issues, including applying for or objecting to interim injunctions. Recent work has included the implementation of tax efficient incentive schemes for companies and LLPs, and the successful resolution of a High Court action brought against an LLP client by a disgruntled ex-member.
Mr. Butwick is the author of Tolley’s Guide to the National Minimum Wage (Tolley, 1999) and is a contributor to Tolley’s Employment Law Looseleaf. He has been interviewed on Radio 4’s Today programme about employment law issues. Mr. Butwick has written numerous articles on employment law topics and regularly devises and presents tailored training programmes, lectures and seminars for clients and industry organisations including HFM Week, The Lawyer, CIPD, Professional Conferences and Butterworths.
