Biography

Janeen E. Smith is an accomplished trial lawyer who began her career on the defense side of the courtroom, representing insurance companies and corporations. She now puts that insider perspective to good use advocating for the rights of injured individuals and their families. Janeen focuses her practice on cases involving complex catastrophic injuries, defective products, and medical malpractice.

A native of Fort Pierce, Florida, Janeen graduated from Florida Atlantic University before going on to earn her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. She earned the Medal for Excellence in Advocacy at the National Moot Court Competition and was named Emory University Graduating Woman of Excellence.

Prior to joining Turnbull, Holcomb & LeMoine, Janeen worked as an attorney at two prominent Atlanta defense firms, where she defended cases for insurance companies, corporations, and individual defendants. She has represented clients in a wide array of cases in state, federal, and appeals courts.
