Jamie represents individuals, businesses, and organizations in a wide range of civil disputes and commercial litigation matters throughout Charleston, South Carolina, and surrounding areas. His practice includes contractual disputes, partnership disputes, commercial and business disputes, real property disputes, insurance disputes, construction matters, serious injury and wrongful death claims, and creditor/debtor disputes.
Known for his detail-oriented and strategic approach, Jamie works with clients to address complex legal issues through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, litigation, trial, and appeal. He has experience handling matters at both the state and appellate court levels and is committed to helping clients pursue practical and effective resolutions.
In addition to his litigation practice, Jamie serves as a mediator and arbitrator, drawing on his extensive courtroom and dispute resolution experience to assist parties in resolving contested matters efficiently and professionally.

Jamie has deep roots in the Charleston community and has maintained a longstanding commitment to civic and community involvement in Charleston and throughout South Carolina. He previously served as a member of The Citadel Board of Visitors, the governing body of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of The Citadel Alumni Association, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of The Citadel Foundation.
Currently, Jamie serves on the City of Charleston’s Citizen Police Advisory Council, which works to strengthen relationships between the Charleston Police Department and the community. Prior to attending law school, Jamie served as a patrolman and detective with the Charleston Police Department.
