Jamie Hubbard

Jamie Hubbard is respected as a top strategic legal mind and focused trial lawyer. She enjoys tackling complex cases, sifting through the noise and zeroing in on the facts that matter. Her plain-speaking and common-sense approach appeals to jurors, who comment on Jamie’s relatability and how she effectively communicates her clients’ story. Above all, Jamie takes pride in connecting with and relating to clients and developing a client-centered case strategy.

Jamie began her career as a civil litigation associate at one of the top 10 U.S. law firms before spending nearly a decade working inside the federal courts advising judges and honing her legal research and writing skills. Jamie returned to private practice at one of Colorado’s top trial firms before founding Stimson LaBranche Hubbard.

Jamie enjoys a diverse criminal practice, handling everything from the most serious felonies to misdemeanor and school disciplinary cases including Title IX defense and suspension/expulsion matters. Jamie has developed a special interest in protecting the right to freedom of speech and expression, and regularly challenges the government’s attempts to prosecute her clients for exercising their First Amendment rights. Jamie balances her representation of criminal defendants with a wide-ranging civil litigation practice. Her clients have included companies involved in business disputes and individuals sued for assault, defamation and other torts. Jamie also represents clients whose civil rights have been trampled by the government.

Outside of work, Jamie enjoys exploring Colorado and beyond with her husband, teenager, and their most adored rescue dog.
