I have known Tim Shearin for over 10 years. He is articulate, thoughtful, and extremely bright. He is an awesome presence in the courtroom; judges respect him, jurors like him, and opposing counsel and opposing witnesses fear him! On more than one occasion I have seem Tim completely turn the tide in a jury trial through his tenacity, straightforward manner, unparalleled work ethic, attention to detail, witness preparation, and strategic thinking. Not withstanding that he is almost always on trial and holds the additional responsibilities of a senior partner in his firm, he always promptly responds to my e-mails and phone calls. Perhaps Tim's most remarkable trait is his willingness to "tell it like it is". You know that he will always give you an honest, thoughtful, direct, and unbiased answer. I can say without hesitation that Tim Shearin is the finest trial lawyer with whom we have ever worked.
