Professional experience
Jaime has worked with top tier tax advisory firms, such as Cuatrecasas, EY, KPMG, having also lead the tax area of Ontier, and currently standing as tax partner of the Madrid Crowe’s office.
He is specialized in tax structuring of cross-border transactions of Spanish and foreign multinational groups, focusing mainly in M&A and international tax matters. He has extensive experience in dealing and leading projects involving presence in many jurisdictions and teams from different areas of practice. He has also broad experience in tax due diligence procedures, tax modelling, advice for tax efficient financing of cross-border transactions, post-acquisition integrations and reorganizations of major worldwide groups, design of tax efficient holdings and cash-repatriation structures.
Jaime has also contributed to Spanish publications specializing in tax and economic matters and collaborates with IE University as a professor on international tax.
Some of the industries of his practice are telecommunications, energy, infrastructures, real estate & land development and private equity.
Jaime has been recognized by the international publications Iberian Lawyer with the 40 under 40 award (2017) and with the Americas Award: Energy tax deal of the year 2015, by the International Tax Review.
