Biography
Jacqueline Swanson is a law partner at Graves & Swanson LLC in Portland, Oregon. Jackie’s practice centers on the provision of holistic representation of injured individuals seeking redress through the civil justice system, including personal injury and family law.
Jackie has dedicated her career to fighting for survivors of sexual, domestic and gendered violence. Her prior work as a sexual assault victim advocate propelled her to attend law school in order to vindicate the rights of crime victims.
In her free time, Jackie engages in pro bono legislative and public policy work on behalf of victims and survivors in Oregon and across the nation. Through this volunteer citizen advocacy, Jackie has contributed to numerous successful legislative efforts, such as eliminating the backlog and mandating testing of sexual assault forensic evidence kits (“SAFE kits” or “rape kits”) and extending the civil and criminal statutes of limitation in cases involving sexual abuse.
