Recognized in Best Lawyers since 2021 Nate is a Shareholder at Kenney & Sams and a nationally recognized litigator for partnership disputes, construction disputes, delay claims, mechanic's liens, jobsite accidents, contract negotiations, and employment cases. He is the Chair of the International Association of Defense Counsel's ("IADC") Construction Law and Litigation Committee, Chair of the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association's ("MassDLA") Construction Law Committee, serves on the MassDLA's Board of Directors, and has been named a BTI Consulting Group Client Service All-Star for 2022 and 2023. In 2023, he was named a "Top Lawyer - Construction" by Boston Magazine and has been named to the Massachusetts Super Lawyers List since 2013.
Nate is actively involved with the IADC and currently serves as Chair of the IADC’s Construction Law and Litigation Committee. He has been a panelist and moderator at several IADC annual meetings, presenting on topics ranging from the Non-Delegable Duty for Jobsite Safety to Blockchain and the Impact of Cryptocurrencies on the Practice of Law.
