J.K. Leonard

J.K. Leonard is a full time mediator. In his previous experience, he practiced in the areas of product liability, complex torts, commercial litigation, and non-medical professional liability. He also served as monitoring and coverage counsel in complex tort cases for excess insurance carriers. Mr. Leonard represented manufacturers of recreational products, consumer goods, electrical supply and distribution products, process automation equipment, construction and agricultural equipment and industrial equipment in product liability litigation. Mr. Leonard routinely appeared throughout the state of Texas and has appeared as regional and national counsel for manufacturers in numerous state and federal courts outside the state of Texas. He was honored and privileged to serve as the only two-time Chairman of the Board of ALFA International (2005-2007 and 2015-2016). ALFA International (www.alfainternational.com), is a global legal network based in Chicago, Illinois, comprised of approximately 150 member law firms worldwide. Mr. Leonard frequently lectures for clients and trade associations on issues related to both preventative and litigation issues.
