J. Daniel Clark leads Clark Trial Law in Tampa, where he has spent more than 25 years representing people who have been seriously hurt, and families who have lost someone, because of another party's negligence. His practice centers on catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims arising from motor vehicle collisions, premises hazards, defective products, and other preventable failures.
The Florida Bar has board certified Mr. Clark in civil trial law, a credential held by a small fraction of attorneys in the state. Over the course of his career he has secured millions of dollars in compensation for injured clients, and his work has earned consistent recognition from Best Lawyers along with an AV Preeminent peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell and selection to Florida Trend's Legal Elite.
He has given considerable time to the local bar, chairing the Hillsborough County Bar Association's Trial and Litigation Section and serving on its executive board from 2003 to 2013. He also holds membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Federal Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association, and the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association.
Dan Clark is a Florida native and a graduate of Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida. He earned his bachelors of arts degree from Duke University where he was an honorable mention All-Atlantic Coast Conference athlete. He received his Juris Doctorate with honors from Stetson University College of Law where he was a member of the Stetson Law Review and Stetson Trial Team, and a Federal Judicial Intern for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich, Chief Judge, Middle District of Florida.
