Carter Andersen has extensive experience handling complex civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts and in alternative dispute resolution settings, including arbitration and mediation. Mr. Andersen handles construction and real estate disputes, professional malpractice matters, trade secret disputes, commercial contract disputes and other general commercial litigation matters. Before joining Bush Ross, Mr. Andersen practiced general commercial litigation with Jones Day in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Andersen currently serves on the Hillsborough County Bar Association's Board of Directors. Mr. Andersen is a graduate of the Leadership Tampa Class of 2006 and sat on the Board of Leadership Tampa Alumni from 2007 to 2010. Mr. Andersen has been recognized as a 2007 Outstanding Young Alumnus by the University of Florida Levin College of Law, is the Past President of the UF Law Alumni Council, and currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the University of Florida Levin College of Law. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Andersen was a Pupil and then a Barrister in the Tampa Bay Inn Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Mr. Andersen has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America. He also has been named to Florida's "Legal Elite" by Florida Trend Magazine every year since 2011 and as a "florida Super Lawyer" by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine since 2011. Mr. Andersen has been awarded an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
