Irina’s practice is focused in the areas of class actions, civil and commercial litigation, health and social services law and labour law. She developed significant experience in intellectual property, litigation and class action defence while in private practice. Given her expertise, she regularly drafts procedures, legal opinions, and argumentations, as well as represents institutional clients before tribunals and courts.
Irina holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Montreal. Prior to her legal studies, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences (B.Sc) from the same university. In addition, she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Experimental Surgery (M.Sc.) at McGill University, with a thesis focusing on the impact of medical coverage laws on pediatric surgical care.
During her legal studies, Irina worked in the field of biomedical research and has been invited to speak at various international conferences.
