Biography

Iñigo is a dual-qualified lawyer in both Mexico and New York State. He has been an associate at Santamarina + Steta since 2018 and worked as a visiting lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP (2022-2023) in New York City.

His practice specializes in Banking and Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions. He also provides legal advice to domestic and foreign entities regarding corporate governance and ESG matters, as well as their commercial and operational activities in Mexico. In addition, he is a member of various administrative bodies of civil associations and entities in the industrial and financial sectors. Moreover, he is also an adjunct professor of business and corporate law at the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Iñigo holds a law degree (LL.B) from the Tecnolólogico de Monterrey, a diploma in corporate finance from the Universidad Iberocamericana, a diploma in Computer Science from Harvard Law School Executive Education, and a master in laws (LL.M.) from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
