Tariq Ibrahim's legal practice integrates labor and employment litigation with comprehensive employment law counseling for businesses, executives, and HR professionals.
Ibrahim represents companies through various employment law claims, including wrongful terminations, workplace harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and disputes over employee family and medical leave. He also deals with unpaid wage or benefits claims and litigation concerning employment and non-compete agreements. His representation covers state and federal courts in New York, along with administrative proceedings at the New York and U.S. Departments of Labor, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the New York City Commission on Human Rights, and the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
As a knowledgeable advisor for employers, Ibrahim provides guidance to organizations of all sizes on strategic matters. He advises on topics like executive transitions, management or employee separations, layoffs and reductions-in-force considering WARN Act implications, the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence, and conducts investigations in response to internal workplace conduct claims.
