Biography
For two decades, Hilary has represented clients facing a wide range of criminal charges, from theft to murder. She is particularly adept at defending individuals accused of sexual assault, drug offences, and human trafficking. Hilary aims to guide her clients confidently through challenging legal situations.
Hilary earned her law degree from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law and completed her Master of Laws in Criminal Law and Procedure at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. With a career dedicated to criminal advocacy, she began with the esteemed firm Pinkofskys. There, she gained extensive experience in trials, motions, appeals, and complex litigation across all levels of Ontario's courts.
This foundation led her to join Daniel Brown Law LLP. Hilary is known for her strategic thinking, leveraging her academic background and professional experience to approach legal challenges creatively and effectively.
In addition to her legal practice, Hilary shares her knowledge by teaching Trial Advocacy at Osgoode Hall Law School and serves on the Legal Aid Ontario’s Exceptions Committee. Her commitment to the field continues to benefit both her clients and the wider legal community in Toronto.
