Hélène Bussières is a partner and the head of the Employment and Labour Group in the Montréal office of Stikeman Elliott. Ms. Bussières has extensive experience representing employers at federal and provincial levels in the context of both individual employment relationships and matters relating to unionized environments. Her diverse practice includes acting for clients in civil courts and administrative tribunals in pleadings before judges, labour commissioners and arbitrators, the negotiation of collective agreements, as well as the drafting of executive employment agreements and non-competition clauses.
Ms. Bussières also has considerable experience in the coordination of all employee-related matters in commercial transactions such as asset and share acquisitions, and has developed extensive expertise in strategic human resources planning and executive compensation for her clients throughout Canada.

In addition to her practice at the firm, Ms. Bussières teaches employment and labour law at the Quebec Bar School. She also is a member of the Bar of Montreal's Liaison Committee with the Labour Relations Commission.
