Heidi Webb has been licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and
before the Federal District and Appeals Courts since 1986. She joined her
family's law firm, Webb, Webb and Martin, established by her grandfather in
1912 and developed her practice in the area of family law, representing both
adult parties and children.
Heidi is trained as a mediator, a litigator,
and a Collaborative Attorney. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Heidi received her
Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University where she concentrated in
Counseling and Consulting Psychology, and then worked for the Massachusetts Department
of Social Services investigating cases of child abuse and neglect. She has also
worked for the Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee advising psychiatric patients
of their legal rights and the Office of the Middlesex District Attorney.
Heidi’s path ultimately led her to merge her
practices in psychology and law, develop the Consilium® Process and establish
Consilium® Divorce Consultations. Heidi is a member of the Massachusetts Bar
Association, and has served as a member of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law
Council and as an elected member of the Middlesex County Bar Association. She presented
at the 2016 Harvard Medical School- Cambridge Health Alliance Treating Couples
Conference on “Moving from Dissolution to Evolution: Rethinking Divorce and
Family Restructuring”, and has presented at and moderated numerous panels for
the Massachusetts Bar Association from “Understanding the Psychological
Dimensions of Divorce” to “The Impact of the New Tax Law for Divorce Matters”(eff.
1/1/19), to “The Benefits of Therapeutic Divorce Groups for Individuals in the
Process of or Recently Divorced”. Heidi is a frequent blogger, podcast and

with Senior Partners for Justice, Attorneys Representing Children, the
Medical-Law Partnership and Lawyer For the Day in both Middlesex and Norfolk
Heidi and Hon. Julie Kunce Fields, recently
published a book they co-authored entitled “Dissolution to Evolution:
Navigating Your Divorce Through The Consilium ® Process” (2017).
