Biography

Harry A. Sieben, Jr. has spent more than 50 years advocating for injured people and helping build SiebenCarey into one of Minnesota's largest and most established personal injury law firms. Over the course of his career, he has represented clients in complex personal injury litigation and conducted jury trials resulting in record-setting verdicts.

Harry's accomplishments as a trial lawyer have earned longstanding recognition from his peers and leading legal organizations. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America® for Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs since 2003 and was selected as a Minnesota Super Lawyers honoree for more than 30 consecutive years, including recognition among the Top 100 Super Lawyers. He has also earned Martindale-Hubbell's AV Preeminent® peer-review rating, the organization's highest rating for professional excellence and ethical standards.

His commitment to serving Minnesotans extends well beyond his legal practice. Harry served 14 years in the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing his district from 1971 to 1985 and serving as Speaker of the House from 1981 to 1985. His leadership and public service have also included involvement with the Minnesota Association for Justice, Minnesota AFL-CIO, Minnesota Military Family Foundation, Starbase Minnesota, and other civic and professional organizations.

Harry also built a distinguished career in military service. He served for decades in the U.S. Army and Minnesota National Guard, ultimately retiring at the rank of Major General. Following his military retirement, he continued his service as a Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army, advising Army leadership and strengthening connections between the military and civilian communities.
