Hannes D. Dietmaier

Hannes joined Linklaters in 2016 and became Managing Associate in 2020, based in Frankfurt.

Hannes is specialised in real estate law e.g. working for national and international investors, banks, insurance companies, in particular, experience with portfolio transactions and long-term lease agreements.

His recent work experience includes:

• AG Insurance Group: advising on the acquisition of a portfolio of nursing homes.
• AG Real Estate and Cardif Lux Vie: advising on the divestment of a portfolio of nursing homes in Germany.
• AvisonYoung acting on behalf of the Canadian pension fund PSS/TPP Investments: advising on the acquisition of a mixed used property located in Leinfelden-Echterdingen near Stuttgart by way of a share deal.
• Aviva Investors: advising on the sale of two shopping centres in Salzgitter and Frankfurt Höchst.
• BNP Paribas REIM: advising on the acquisition of the office buildings “HanseAtrium" in Hamburg and "Signaris" in Frankfurt.
• CapitaLand Commercial Trust (CCT): advising the first and largest commercial REIT listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading on the acquisition of the office building “Main Airport Center” in Frankfurt.
• CBRE Investment Management: advising on the acquisition of a portfolio of 1,350 residential units in Germany from Vonovia for €560m, the quarter "Bricks" in Berlin, the office buildings “Pontishaus” in Munich, the "Telekom Hauptstadtrepräsentanz" in Berlin as well as the mixed-use property "Residenz am deutschen Theater" in Berlin and an innovative, state-of-the-art residential project development at Südkreuz Berlin and further acquisitions.
• Cerberus: advising on the acquisition of a 49-property portfolio (Rebound portfolio) from FMSW and the negotiations for a long-term lease agreement plan for Woolworth.
• Frasers Logistics & Industrial Trust (FLT), a Singapore REIT: advising on the acquisition of logistics and light industrial portfolios in Germany, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
• GARBE: advising on the acquisition of a Pan-European logstics portfolio for over €1bn.
• A Korean investor consortium led by Hanwha: advising on the sale of the Frankfurt highrise building “Gallileo” by way of a share deal.
• Ivanhoé Cambridge: advising on the sale of the office buildings "Theresie" in Munich and “IBC” in Frankfurt.
• RBS and the insolvency administrator Barend de Roy van Zuidewijn: advising on the sale of a portfolio consisting of ten shopping centers.
• Tishman Speyer: advising on the letting of the highrise buildings "OMNITURM" and “Taunusturm” in Frankfurt.
• TPP Investments (Nova Scotia pension fund): advising on the acquisition of Clinton's European headquarters through a sale and lease back and its financing.
• Triuva (now Patrizia): advising on the sale of a pan-European portfolio consisting of thirty properties in six jurisdictions to Ares Management.
