Stephan Baur studied at the universities of Passau, Munich and Freiburg, where he also took his doctorate (Dr. jur.). He is currently a lecturer in private business law at the distance learning university HFH Hamburg. In addition, he is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) and of supervisory boards of commercial companies.

Before he joined our law firm, Dr. Norbert Hebeis headed the EU trademark department of a large US company (pharmaceuticals, consumer products) for ten years. He has been a partner of FGvW for 16 years and specializes in trademark and design litigation and prosecution, unfair competition litigation and counselling. His international key clients are Novartis (pharma), Wilkinson Sword (razors), erima (sportswear), Gloster (furniture) and Haufe-Lexware (publishing house).

Sebastian Vollmer studied at the University of Freiburg. After completing his legal training in Stuttgart, he worked in the real estate practice of a major international law firm, where he was awarded his doctorate.

After studying law and economics at the University of Freiburg, Ekkehard Hagedorn undertook his legal traineeship in Paris, with study periods at the London School of Economics. Ekkehard Hagedorn took his doctorate at the University of Freiburg (Dr. jur.). He is currently a member of the board of examiners for specialist attorneys in the field of inheritance law and of the Working Group on Inheritance Law of the German Bar Association (DAV).

Corporate law is the main focus of Verena Eisenlohr’s consultancy work. In addition to representing her clients in court, Ms Eisenlohr assists in founding and restructuring of companies, private equity and venture capital financing as well as M&A transactions. Dr. Patrick Certa chiefly advises clients on matters of corporate law as well as Mergers & Acquisitions transactions and corporate financing. In this context, he represents regionally, nationally as well as internationally active firms in Germany and abroad during the restructuring of companies and corporate groups as well as in the formulation and negotiation of contracts. Patrick Certa also acts as a litigator in court proceedings in the aforementioned areas of expertise.

Frank Büchler is a lawyer and partner at Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner in Freiburg. He specialises in restructuring and insolvency law. He is a member of the Expert Committee on Banking and Capital Markets Law of the Freiburg Bar Association, the Working Group on Banking and Capital Markets Law in the DAV and the Bankrechtlichen Vereinigung - Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Bankrecht e. V. He speaks German, English and French.

Alexander Hübner studied at the University of Kiel, where he also obtained his doctorate (Dr. jur.), and he continued his legal training in Kiel, Paris, Heidelberg, Hamburg and Luxembourg.
