Gregory J. Kaladeen is a lawyer with McLeod Law LLP in Calgary, Alberta. Since his call to the Alberta Bar in 2020, Gregory has focused his practice on Trusts and Estates, including estate litigation, trust disputes, and adult guardianship and trusteeship matters.
Gregory assists clients with complex and sensitive issues involving mental incapacity, undue influence, executor misconduct, family maintenance and support claims, and disputes concerning adult guardianship and trusteeship. He also advises clients on estate administration matters involving real estate, tax planning, and digital assets.
Gregory has appeared before the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and the Court of Appeal of Alberta. Although he is comfortable representing clients in Court, he also helps clients develop practical strategies to resolve difficult issues without litigation where appropriate.
Gregory serves as an Officer on the National Executive Committee of the Canadian Bar Association’s Wills, Estates and Trust Section. He also participates regularly in speaking engagements concerning Trusts and Estates law.
