Biography

GGreg Smith is a Member of the firm based in the Nashville office where he is a member of the Family Law Service Group. His practice focuses primarily on divorce, custody litigation, support disputes and neglect cases in courts in Nashville and surrounding counties. He has helped clients find and recover children abducted by former spouses, obtained help for children with disabilities and resolved difficult property and financial issues related to their domestic disputes. He has experience in international custody litigation in both state and federal courts. He also has experience handling creditors' rights and commercial litigation matters in both Tennessee state and federal courts.

More Than Stites & Harbison

Mr. Smith has chaired the Juvenile Court Committee and the Circuit and Chancery Court Committee of the Nashville Bar Association. He served on the board of directors of the Nashville Bar Association from 2002-04.

Greg has led or participated in a number of seminars over the past several years focusing on family law and ethical issues for the National Business Institute, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association and the Nashville Bar Association.
