Giovanna provides strategic advice on contentious and non-contentious matters to a broad range of clients, from entertainment companies and software businesses to fashion retailers and consumer goods manufacturers. She has extensive expertise in all aspects of trademark protection, including trademark clearance and opinions, prosecution, oppositions, portfolio management, and licensing, as well as intellectual property issues arising in the context of financing and mergers and acquisitions. Giovanna also advises clients with respect to the enforcement of the Quebec's Charter of the French Language.
