Gerald Jackson is an experienced trial lawyer focusing on business, commercial and complex litigation, as well as Indian law and gaming. He has extensive experience involving tribe-state and intra-tribal disputes, securities, business agreements, unfair competition and misappropriation of trade secrets, insurance, energy and construction. Gerald litigates complex business disputes and mass tort actions in state and federal courts, including class action lawsuits. He also advocates in commercial arbitrations and before various tribal courts.
Prior to joining Crowe & Dunlevy, Gerald was the assistant counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture where he had primary responsibility for all legislative, investigative and oversight functions for environmental, public welfare assistance and international trade issues under the committee’s jurisdiction.
Gerald serves as one of Oklahoma’s delegation on the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. He participates in drafting specific acts and works with fellow commissioners to bring uniformity to the divergent legal traditions of more than 50 sovereign jurisdictions, and has done so with significant success.
Since 2013, Best Lawyers has ranked Gerald in commercial litigation and Super Lawyers has ranked him in Native American law, business litigation and construction litigation. Benchmark Litigation lists Gerald as a Future Star and he has received an “AV” rating, the highest professional rating, from Martindale-Hubbell.*
