Geoffrey P. Anderson

Geoffrey P. Anderson, Esq. is a shareholder and founding member of Anderson Notarianni McMahon LLC, a Denver, Colorado law firm. His practice focuses on Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Law, Litigation - Real Estate, and Land Use and Zoning Law, with an emphasis on disputes and transactions involving complex real property issues.

Mr. Anderson served as Chair of the Real Estate Section Council of the Colorado Bar Association from 2010 to 2011. He is the author of Colorado Quiet Title Actions, currently published by CLE of Colorado, and has written the chapter on Easements in the Colorado Real Estate Forms Desk Book, also published by CLE of Colorado. He has served as editor of the chapter on judicial foreclosures in Krendl, Colorado Methods of Practice, published by Thomson West (2015), and authored the chapter on judicial foreclosures in Foreclosure Law in Colorado, published by CLE of Colorado. Mr. Anderson also authored the chapter on quiet title in the Colorado Real Estate Practice Series, published and presented by CLE of Colorado.

Mr. Anderson regularly lectures on real estate law topics, including easements, roads, boundary disputes, and quiet title actions. He has testified in court on multiple occasions regarding these matters. He is a member of the Title Standards Committee of the Colorado Bar Association and the Forms Committee of the Colorado Real Estate Commission.

Mr. Anderson was named Lawyer of the Year for real estate litigation in Denver in 2018 and 2021 by U.S. News and World Report. He has been listed in Best Lawyers from 2015 to the present and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer from 2011 to the present. He has held an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 2002.
