Genna Wood

Genna Wood is an associate practicing in the Toronto office of Thorsteinssons LLP.

Genna is an experienced litigator practicing in the firm’s Toronto office. Her current practice focuses on all stages of interaction with the tax authorities.

Genna has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of Canada (in writing) and private arbitral tribunals in domestic and international arbitrations. She is a passionate advocate with a track record of resolving complex disputes and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.

Genna has been recognized by Best Lawyers for her expertise in Commercial Litigation since 2022 and is a member of the OBA Taxation Law Section Executive.

Prior to joining Thorsteinssons, Genna practiced in the litigation department of a leading national law firm.
