Biography
Geneviève Claveau is a lawyer in the litigation group at Langlois Lawyers in Montréal.
Geneviève’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and on matters of public law, at both trial and appellate levels. She intervenes in complex cases involving constitutional, administrative, regulatory and commercial law, as well as in contractual disputes. She also acts in class actions in the areas of securities and telecommunications.
Moreover, Geneviève defends corporations and individuals in the context of penal, regulatory and disciplinary investigations.
Following her legal studies, Geneviève served for two years as law clerk to the Honourable Nicole Duval Hesler, then Chief Justice of Québec.
She practises law in English and French.
