Gayle Brock founded Brock Medical Malpractice Law PC in Barrie, Ontario, in April 2010 after practising for 14 years in medical malpractice litigation at a personal injury law firm. Her interest in both medicine and law continues to shape her work representing patients and families involved in medical negligence and health care law matters throughout Ontario.
With nearly three decades of legal experience, Gayle has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal. She represents clients in complex medical malpractice litigation and works to resolve matters through both negotiation and courtroom advocacy.
Gayle received her law degree from Western University Faculty of Law in 1992 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994. She later earned a Master of Laws degree from the University of Sydney in Australia in 1996.
In addition to her legal practice, Gayle has remained active in the medico-legal community. She served as President of the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto for the 2022–2023 term and is a member of the Holland Group. Her professional involvement reflects her ongoing commitment to medical malpractice litigation, health care law, and continued professional development.
