Mr. Forshner concentrates his commercial real estate practice in the areas of land use, zoning, real estate development and redevelopment. He represents local, national and international developers, property owners and other business clients engaged in mixed use, residential, industrial, office, retail and affordable housing development projects.
Mr. Forshner provides sophisticated counsel and guidance across all phases of the project life cycle, including land use planning and approvals, permits and variances, appearances before municipal, county and state boards and agencies, and appeals of unfavorable land use decisions. Mr. Forshner's representation of clients encompasses a broad array of industries and includes significant expertise within the telecommunications and alternative energy (solar) industries. He has served as special land use counsel to various New Jersey municipalities and to the New Jersey Builders Association.
Mr. Forshner regularly speaks on topics within the scope of his practice to a wide range of real estate, business and legal industry organizations. He has lectured on issues including those related to zoning and planning, redevelopment, affordable housing, sustainable energy, land use, eminent domain, transactional real estate, project financing and incentives, leasing, post-storm rebuilding, and attorney and governmental ethics.
