After being called to the German Bar in 2000, Gabriele worked in the labour department of Baker & McKenzie Frankfurt as the firm's German corporate immigration specialist before she co-founded Offer & Mastmann in 2006. Her comprehensive expertise in German business immigration, spanning more than 19 years, covers all legal aspects of employing foreign personnel and international employee transfer to and from Germany, including aspects of immigration, social security and labour law. Gabriele’s clients include multinationals of various industries with a strong emphasis in financial institutions and IT companies. She also cooperates with a number of international operating relocation service providers. Her clients appreciate her in-depth legal and practical knowledge as well as her ability to combine professionalism with an individual approach to each case and an outstanding application success rate. In 2015, she became managing partner of the firm when it became apparent that Offer & Mastmann would continue to grow.
Gabriele holds in-house trainings and frequently lectures before chambers of commerce and industry. She has written numerous articles and papers in German and English on immigration and related labour law. Her recent publications include the German chapter in the Practitioners Guide of Corporate Immigration, an overview of 29 countries edited by Bettina Offer and Shalini Agarwal (2012 Oxford University Press), as well as a chapter on legal aspects in the drafting of employment transfer agreements in the Formularbuch des Fachanwalts, editions 2012, 2013 and 2014, published by Luchterhand and sections of the first commentary on German corporate immigration law published by the legal publisher C.H. Beck in 2016. She co-authored with Bettina Offer the chapter on Business immigration law to the Handbuch Migrations- und Integrationsrecht in 2018 and is listed as a leading professional by Who’s Who Legal since 2009 and recognized by Best Lawyers® since 2019.
