Biography

Bio

Gabriel S. Saade, Esq. is the Co-Chair of DarrowEverett’s Business Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group, the Chair of its Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group, and a member of the firm’s Corporate & Business Transactions and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Groups.

In his litigation practice, Gabriel handles complex business and real estate litigation, including partnership, shareholder, and joint venture disputes, corporate dissolution, contract and business tort claims, fraud, professional liability, and injunctive relief. He represents individuals, businesses, developers, and commercial landlords and tenants in disputes involving real estate development, construction defects, insurance coverage, and payment delays. Additionally, Gabriel is highly regarded in the hospitality industry for his experience in both litigation and transactional matters, leveraging his extensive network and industry connections.

In his corporate practice, Gabriel represents businesses and individuals across industries including construction, hospitality and cannabis with complex matters, including technology and intellectual property agreements, financing/debt transactions, private placements of equity, debt and hybrid securities, joint ventures, corporate governance and formation, and contracts and other corporate agreements. Gabriel also advises start-ups and emerging companies, and provides counsel on government inquiries and investigations, preparing related securities filings and reports.

Gabriel is outside general counsel for over 100 businesses throughout the U.S. His experience, fierce advocacy, and business sense have helped him consistently deliver winning strategies for clients.

He is also a registered intermediary with the United States Soccer Federation, Inc.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining DarrowEverett, Gabriel served as founding partner of a South Florida-based law firm, where he handled matters involving corporate law, commercial litigation, and compliance for a diverse base of businesses. Gabriel has also spent time working for a renowned South Florida personal injury law firm.

During law school, Gabriel clerked for the Honorable Leslie Rothenberg during her judgeship at the Third District Court of Appeal of Florida, and he interned at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. He received honorable mention from the Florida Bar for earning one of the highest scores in the state on the professional responsibility examination.

During his undergraduate years at Duke University, Gabriel was a four-year starter at second base and shortstop for the Blue Devils baseball team, earning All-ACC Academic honors each year. A graduate of Gulliver Preparatory School in Pinecrest, Florida, Gabriel was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and raised in Miami, Florida. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Defended and resolved a TCPA class action filed against a health insurance brokerage in federal court, achieving an early and favorable settlement prior to class certification or discovery. The resolution significantly reduced potential exposure and avoided the substantial costs associated with class action litigation.
  • Favorable Ruling Dismissing Six of Nine Claims in Website Tracking Pixel Class Action
Secured a favorable ruling in a proposed class action in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington concerning the use of website tracking pixels. Plaintiffs alleged sensitive health information—including addiction treatment inquiries and online assessment results—was improperly transmitted to third parties. The Court granted our motion to dismiss six of nine claims, eliminating the broadest liability theories.
