Bob Fisher practices in the Corporate practice, concentrating in corporate and finance transactional matters, principally in mergers and acquisitions. His practice also includes complex debt financings, joint ventures and strategic alliances.
Bob represents both financial and strategic buyers and sellers of business and product lines, mostly in the private, middle market. He has also assisted many family groups transition ownership of the business they founded.
Clients include large public companies engaging in reorganizations, domestic or foreign expansion by acquisition and strategic dispositions. Among his clients is one of the nation's most active middle-market private equity firms.
In the current economic market, he has provided legal assistance in several large and successful industry roll-up efforts. He has also served as counsel on merger and acquisition transactions in South America, Europe and Asia and is consistently listed in The Best Lawyers in America.
In law school, Bob received numerous awards and served as an Editor of the Law Review. In addition to his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and his Juris Doctorate, with distinction, Bob also holds a master of law degree in taxation.Bob is also active in civic and charitable affairs, serving on, among others, the Board of Trustees of Avila University and the National Steering Committee of the Board of Directors of the Thomas Alva Edison Foundation.
