Biography

Fredric Reed is a Seattle, Washington attorney with Reed Longyear Corwin Burnett & Calogero, PLLC. Since 1972, he has represented individuals, businesses, and property owners in matters involving Real Estate Law, Business Law, Civil Litigation, Estate Planning, Personal Injury, and Wrongful Death.

Mr. Reed has received Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent peer review rating for legal ability and ethical standards for more than 25 years. He is admitted to practice in Washington State, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Claims.

Throughout his career, Mr. Reed has served as lead counsel in more than 100 trials and arbitrations. He has advised start-up businesses, established companies, and real estate developers on a wide range of legal matters, including acquisitions, mergers, business operations, and dispute resolution.

His Real Estate Law practice includes representing clients through all stages of development projects, including site acquisition, land use and entitlements, project documentation, construction, financing, leasing, sales, and long-term property management. He has also worked closely with clients on commercial and residential real estate transactions throughout the Seattle area and across Washington.

Mr. Reed is a member of several sections of the Washington State Bar Association, including Business Law, Litigation, Real Property, Probate and Trust. He is also a member of the Washington State Association for Justice.

A Seattle native, Mr. Reed earned both his Juris Doctor and Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington.
