Freddy X. Muñoz is a Partner in the Miami, Florida office of Peckar & Abramson PC. He represents clients in a broad range of construction and commercial disputes, focusing on practical, business-oriented solutions. Freddy’s practice includes Alternative Dispute Resolution, Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, and Litigation – Construction.
Freddy regularly represents contractors, developers, and other construction industry participants in disputes involving contracts, design issues, delays, construction defects, and insurance-related matters. He also advises creditors and business owners in commercial litigation matters, drawing on a strong understanding of both legal and operational considerations affecting their businesses.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Freddy works with U.S. and international clients throughout the construction and business communities. His experience with litigation and mediation enables him to guide clients through dispute resolution processes while remaining attentive to their broader business objectives.
Before entering the legal profession, Freddy built a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant and Senior Risk Consultant with an international consulting firm. In that role, he advised Fortune 500 companies on financial and operational processes, risk management, and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. His background in financial reporting and internal auditing informs his approach to construction law and commercial litigation matters.
Freddy earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Florida and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was a recipient of a Law Faculty Scholarship.
