Mr. Haddad has been admitted to the United States Supreme Court as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the First, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Tenth and Eleventh Circuits as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the Western District of Tennessee and the Western District of Texas. He has been admitted on Motion in some twenty other Federal jurisdictions as well as the State Courts of California, Wisconsin and Georgia.

Mr. Haddad has, since 1995, been included in Best Lawyers in America, listed in both the white collar and non white collar criminal law categories. He is also listed as a top tier law firm in white collar and non white collar criminal litigation in U.S. News and World Report’s America’s Best Law Firms. Mr. Haddad, has since its inception, been categorized as one of the one hundred best trial lawyers in the National Trial Lawyers Associate Guide to best trial lawyers in each state. He has also been listed as one of South Florida’s best criminal lawyers in the Miami Herald, Florida Trend magazine and other local publications. Mr. Haddad’s cases have consisted of Federal white collar crimes including stock, foreign currency, commodity, Medicare and mortgage fraud, ponzi schemes, as well as pension fraud, election violations, tax evasion, identity theft, environmental crimes, terrorism, general racketeering, drug crimes and other related cases. Mr. Haddad also handles traditional State Court felonies including first degree murder. He also handles occasional complex civil litigation. He has had an extensive appellate practice as well having handled over four hundred appellate matters in both State and Federal Courts that have resulted in approximately one hundred and fifty published opinions. This includes Brown v. United States, decided in tandem with Griffith v. Kentucky, 479 U.S. 314, 107 S.Ct. 708 (1987) which he handled from trial in the Federal District Court in Oklahoma, through reversal in the United States Supreme Court and the eventual dismissal of all charges. This case established the existing standard for retroactivity of decisions in criminal cases. Mr. Haddad has had over 125 appellate arguments, including in the United States Supreme Court most of the United State Court of Appeals as well as the Florida Supreme Court and all five District Courts of Appeals.

United States v. Mark Duper

The all pro wide receiver was accused and then acquitted of trafficking in multiple kilograms of cocaine

United States v. McKinley, et al

A case involving terrorism charges against members of the Irish Republican Army for terrorism involving the purchase of a stinger missle for use in Northern Ireland which resulted in acquittal on all but a minor charge.

United States v. Spudeas, et al

A trial in Chicago involving a Klein conspiracy [tax fraud] among various members of an organization, which resulted in a dismissal after hung jury for Mr. Haddad's client.

State of Florida v. Blades

The all pro wide receiver Brian Blades was acquitted on homicide charges.
