Frank M. Eidson

When Frank M. Eidson was growing up in Orlando, he knew from an early age that he wanted to become an attorney. His father, George T. Eidson Jr., was a respected Orlando lawyer known for his courtroom skills and commitment to the community. Frank followed in his father’s footsteps and has built his own reputation as an experienced advocate for Floridians who have suffered serious injuries, are unable to work because of disability, or are seeking the benefits to which they are entitled.

Since founding Eidson Law Firm in 1989, Frank has represented thousands of Floridians and helped clients pursue the financial recoveries and benefits they need to move forward. His practice focuses on Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, and Social Security Disability, with an emphasis on providing highly personalized representation to each client.

Frank earned his undergraduate degree cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 1984 and received his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1987.

He began his legal career at Maguire, Voorhis & Wells, where he handled commercial litigation. He later joined Griffin, Morgan, Linder & Adler, a plaintiff-focused personal injury firm, before establishing his own practice in Orlando in 1989.

From the beginning, Frank’s philosophy has been centered on providing exceptional client service and direct attorney involvement. He has intentionally maintained a focused practice with an experienced support team, allowing him to remain personally involved in his clients’ cases.

“When clients hire me, they get me,” he says. “I’m the one they talk to. I’m the one who’s there with them at the deposition. I’m not flipping them to an associate.”

Frank concentrates his practice in several areas of law, including auto accidents and other personal injury matters, workers’ compensation, and Social Security Disability benefits.

His personal injury practice represents individuals who have been injured through no fault of their own, while his workers’ compensation practice assists employees who have been injured or become unable to work as a result of workplace injuries. He also represents individuals seeking Social Security Disability benefits when a disabling condition prevents them from maintaining employment.

Frank has also worked with The Maher Law Firm on mass tort litigation, helping pursue claims involving large numbers of consumers who have suffered harm.

For Frank, the most rewarding aspect of practicing law is helping clients through difficult periods in their lives.

“It’s a great feeling when people say thank you,” Frank says. “When they’re getting ready to lose their home, their family is in distress, and then everything works out, it’s a happy day when you can give them the money that might be pulling them out of bankruptcy.”

Frank’s work has earned recognition from a number of legal and professional organizations. He has received “Best of Bar” honors from the Orlando Business Journal and has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine in Florida, including selections from 2019 through 2022.

Frank has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 1988. His professional standing and current credentials can be verified through The Florida Bar.

His experience across personal injury, workers’ compensation, and disability matters has made him a long-standing advocate for injured and disabled Floridians.

Frank’s commitment to helping others extends beyond his legal practice. His firm has participated in the Wounded Warrior Project, helping provide wounded veterans with opportunities to return to outdoor activities following their hospital treatment.

He also founded Lawyers for Children, an organization that raised funds to support the neonatal unit at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children. In addition, Frank has served on the board of directors of the Brain Injury Association of Florida.

Frank is also involved with the Braveheart Lacrosse Club, serving as vice president of the board of an organization that provides teams and leagues for more than 250 children in Central Florida.

Outside of his legal practice and community involvement, Frank enjoys spending time with his wife, Cindy, and their three sons. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
