Biography

Frank is a family law attorney with five decades of experience in the negotiation and litigation of economically complex divorce cases. He has deep expertise in the resolution of challenging valuation and alimony issues in high-net-worth cases and is broadly recognized as a preeminent member of the New Jersey family law bar.

Frank represents clients in all aspects of divorce including asset distribution, child support and alimony, with the goal of achieving a negotiated result but, when required, a fair result after trial. His experience encompasses the valuation of closely held businesses, the sophisticated analysis of equitable distribution issues, and the arbitration and mediation of complex economic cases. He is a frequent lecturer on family law topics and has authored over 75 articles on related legal issues.

His emphasis is on problem-solving and attaining beneficial outcomes by using creative approaches to achieve his clients’ goals, structuring agreements that are designed to eliminate future litigation and provide finality.

Client Testimonials

In divorce proceedings, Frank's knowledge of Tax Law as it pertains to Matrimonial Law is one area in which he excels.

I have worked in the legal industry for over 25 years and I have never met an attorney like Frank Louis. Besides being what I consider the best in his field, he was always ten steps ahead of the competition -- well prepared, well versed, and maintained a consistent personality throughout. It was a truly wonderful feeling to know that Frank Louis was in your corner with divorce being such an emotional roller coaster.
